Terms of Service
Last updated Sep 30, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of BillableCue ("we"). By creating an account or connecting BillableCue to an assistant, you accept them.
The service
BillableCue helps you store contracts and project scope, check client requests against that scope, and track change orders and invoices, through the website and through AI assistants you connect (such as ChatGPT or Claude). It is operated by (to be added).
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. If you use BillableCue for a business, you accept these terms for it.
- Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity in your account, including actions taken by assistants you connect.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
Trial and plans
New accounts get a 10-day Solo trial without a credit card. When it ends without a subscription, Free applies with 2 active projects and the core workflow. All data is retained. If usage exceeds your plan, you can view records and manage account/billing settings, but must archive or complete projects, or upgrade, to resume other changes. Assistant tools require Solo or a higher plan. Prices and plan details will be shown before you are asked to pay, and you won't be charged without choosing a plan.
Your content
You own what you add to BillableCue (clients, contracts, scope, change orders, invoices and the rest). You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to upload it, including any personal data about your clients.
AI assistants and your decisions
- Assistants you connect are provided by third parties under their own terms. BillableCue doesn't run AI, and we aren't responsible for what an assistant writes or suggests.
- Scope checks, change orders and invoices are tools to support your own judgment. They aren't legal, financial or tax advice. Review them before relying on them or sending them to clients.
- Steps that change what a client is asked to pay require your explicit confirmation. You are responsible for what you confirm.
- BillableCue records invoices and payments; it doesn't process, send or hold money.
Acceptable use
Don't use BillableCue to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights, or upload data you have no right to share;
- access other users' data, probe or disrupt the service, or get around its limits or security;
- send malware or harmful content, or resell the service without our permission.
Availability and changes
We work to keep BillableCue available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable. We may change or improve features. If we make changes that materially reduce what you get, we'll tell you in advance.
Ending
You can stop using BillableCue and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk; where reasonable, we'll tell you first and let you export your data.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of (to be added). If you are a consumer, you keep any protections the law of your own country gives you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you before they take effect. Continuing to use BillableCue after that means you accept the new terms.
